The name refers to the Klinghardt Mountains in Namibia and northwestern South Africa, where the species was first discovered. It is a stem succulent with a large, thick smooth stem. The leaves are large and simple and glaucous green. The white flowers are on a tall, branching inflorescence. It grows during the winter, and is dormant during the summer. Plants should be watered very sparingly throughout the year, as it does not seem to have a dormant period. AVAILABLE APRIL, 2021
