This is a Swedish pelargonium, and the flower was named after the home of Selma Lagerlöf, the author who won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1909. The flowers are mid pink and the plant has compact growth, with long flowering stems. Our stock plant changed its color from pale pink to mid pink over the last 10 or so years. We are cheered to know that this form of Mårbacka is also known in Sweden.
